An elegant Louis XVI-style bonheur-du-jour, beautifully crafted in richly figured mahogany and embellished with extensive gilt-bronze detailing. The raised superstructure features a central mirrored cupboard flanked by curved open shelves with decorative gallery rails, above a fitted writing surface and multiple drawers.
Raised on slender fluted legs with gilt mounts, the piece has the refined proportions and delicate architectural detailing characteristic of the Louis XVI taste.
A highly decorative and practical statement piece, perfect as a writing desk, dressing table or elegant vanity in both classic and contemporary interiors.
